Hello folks, I'm always looking around for different things to cast in resin, I had an idea a few weeks ago to try casting coloured pencils. Here are some images from the first of three blanks that I cast. The box is 60mm wide by 70mm tall

I don’t make allot of bowls anymore but do still do a few every year as the outlets I supply like the variety.

Its starts when I’m cutting logs to make hollow forms, sometimes there is a section on the outer most area of the log which is too small for a hollow form but to pretty to burn. I turn them into a rough shape paint the end grain with leftover paint write the date on the rim and leave it to dry.
